• People & planet for OUR sustainable future

Our focus is on the UN2030 Sustainable Development Agenda which was agreed on by 193 Heads of State during the 2015 UN70th General Assembly in New York City. The UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals with 169 targets are global in nature and universally applicable, taking into account local communities. UN Secretary-General H.E. Antonio Guterres’ “Our Common Agenda” Report stated the urgency to impact change with actions to reset policies and our commitments to be inclusive with gender balanced agendas. The 2024 UN Summit of the Future will accelerate actions for the SDGs by working in partnership with all stakeholders to achieve the success of the UN2030 Sustainable Development Agenda to “Leave No One Behind.”

Rural women impacting change

We invited rural women from our global networks to send us videos made by using their mobile phones and answering our questions on how using media helped them with their advocacy and outreach to support women in their communities.

We were proud to share this video two months later during the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
